Good Skin Routine To Help Improve Face For Teenage Girl?

I’m 17 years old, I have a few spots (the doctor said its mild acne, but its been ages since I’ve seen the doctor, and I would say my skin has improved a little) small ones on my forehead and 4 or 5 bigger ones on my cheeks. My skin can get oily quite easily. The space between my eyebrows can be dry sometimes and also on my chin. And I also have blackheads on my nose and chin.
I’m doing my best at drink plenty of water, I did use to go to the gym a few times to help my skin by sweating but I’m in my last year of High School and so I have big Art & Design and Photography projects to do, which means I don’t have time to go to the gym and I don’t get the 8 hours sleep like I should. This leaves me stressed too :(
My skin routine so far is;
Morning: Splash warm water onto face, cleanse with ‘Simple Kind To Skin Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser’, then wash/scrub face with ‘Garnier Pure Oil Control Exfo-Brusher Wash’ and then tone with ‘Botanics Skin Brightening Toner’ on a cotton pad and then finally moisturise with ‘Nivea Visage Oil Free Daily Moisturiser’.
Night: Wipe makeup off with Tesco’s makeup wipes, then cleanser, the wash, then toner and then sometimes the moisturiser (if my skin feels dry and tight).
This routine seems okay but I’m not 100% satasfied. I’m thinking of trying new products;
‘Garnier Clean & Fresh Cleansing Milk’, ‘Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing Toner’, ‘Amie Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask’ and ‘Boots Simply Sensitive Anti-Redness Serum’. I’m still trying to figure out what face wash/exfoliater, any suggestions of what I can try?
Big thanks for your answers and I’m sorry the details have turned into a story haha was trying to create an image haha xx

Discover The Benefits Of A Good, Male Wrinkle Cream In Helping You Look Young!

Discover the benefits of a good, Male Wrinkle Cream in helping you look young!

Gone are the days of men fighting shy of grooming themselves. Just look around yourselves guys, most men these days want to look more than presentable and the best way of achieving this is by using a good male anti wrinkle cream that is suited to your skin.

Anti wrinkle creams are here to stay, what with both men and women becoming more and more conscious about the way they look.

While one might wonder, what’s with a male anti wrinkle cream and why not a general one that suits both men and women? Well, that’s because there’s a difference in skin texture and quality of both men and women. Though there are of course a few similarities too, which is why you‘ll probably find some of the ingredients to be similar.

The primary causes of aging and wrinkles are more or less common for both men and women, which is why there are ingredients which you‘ll find common in both men and women.

The primary causes of wrinkles are the same for both sexes and they are-

1) The two proteins, Collagen and Elastin help keep our skin flexible, elastic, smooth and pliant; in fact these two proteins also determine our skin tone and texture too. Both men and women develop wrinkles and experience sagging of skin in the absence of collagen and elastin.

2) Free radical damage to the skin cells is one of the major causes of wrinkles and skin aging. As a result of this a good anti wrinkle cream should have potent natural substances and botanicals that fight off the done to your skin by free radicals.

While choosing an anti wrinkle cream for yourself do keep in mind the differences between the male and female skin.

The biggest difference you will notice in the two types is that inflammation is more prevalent for men’s skin and related problems than it is for women. While some may attribute this difference to the difference in skin types, another major reason remains the fact that men usually shave on a daily basis, which in turn leads to inflammations.

It is therefore mandatory that while on the look out for a male anti wrinkle cream you keep in mind not only collagen and elastin as essential factors but also contain natural emollients that help soothe irritation and inflammation apart from substances that can fight free radicals too.

What’s A Good Anti-aging Product For Teens?

I know it sounds ridiculous because I’m only 18, but my aunt started using anti-aging products when she was about my age and she looks quite younger than her actual age. So I think it’s a good idea to start about now. Are there any good firming creams/eye lotions/etc. that anyone can recommend to help me keep my skin the way it is longer? Thank you all so much! :)

Is Clinique’s Perfectly Real Make-up Foundation Good For Oily Skin?

I recently bought this for christmas and was wondering if it was going to benifit my skin and keep my oil under control? Or what other product would anybody recommend from Clinique that would benefit my skin I am 16 at the moment so I wouldn’t need any anti-aging type of make-up. And where can I get a really, REALLY cheap foundation brush? Haha

Is It Good To Use A Lot Of Skin Car Products?

well, I was shopping online at sephora and they had so many cleansers, toners, masks, scrubs, and so on….. any ways is it good to use all of that in one day ? or like layer your skin care products on top of each other? does it affect the products or cause the products not to work? I was planning on using : make up remover, a cleanser, claro ( an acne light treatment), scrub, mask, toner, moisturizer, anti aging cream, eye cream, and i think that’s it. i love my skin and want to take care of it .

Do You Think A Website About Skin Problems And Anti-aging Technology By An Rn Is A Good Idea?

I am a Cosmetic Laser Specialist and an Aesthetics and Dermatology RN with several years in the profession. I would like to have a web site that would answer questions and give consultations to those who want to have some direction as to how to proceed with any procedures they may want to have done. Also I could give my opinion on the best products on the market today for optimum skin health.

Missha M Perfect Cover Bb Cream – Good Or Bad For Young Skin And Aftereffects?

I’ve heard about how great BB cream is, and Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream seems to do what I want it to, working as a moisturiser, sunscreen, softens, helps with acne etc.
However I have also heard the cons of this product, including:
- After stopping the use of this product skin is discoloured from the whitening agent
- After stopping the use of this product skin becomes saggy from the anti wrinkle agent
- Actually CLOGS pores instead
- Does not work well as a scar fader, skin regenerator and excess oil reducer
I am also 13 years old, with normal skin, and I really don’t mind if there isn’t much of the concealment factor in this BB cream, I’m just going for the skin benefits. I don’t plan to use this on a daily basis, probably every 2-3 days. I’m using this product solely for the purpose of healthy skin, of course I love the fact it gives a flawless no-makeup look but it’s not the main reason of me looking for a good bb cream.
So please, only if you have had PERSONAL experience with this product, it would help me SO much if you could answer these questions:
- Does Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream have aftereffects of skin discolouration/skin sagging after continuous use?
- Is it a bad thing to use a product with anti-wrinkle agents when I’m far from the stage when I need to?
- For those of similar/close age, has your experience with this product been satisfying?
- What effects (good and bad) have you seen since using this product?
THANK YOU ALL so much for your time, I really appreciate every answer!

What Are Good, Cruelty-free Skin Care Products I Can Buy?

** PLEASE READ!! **
Recently, I realized that I ran out of certain products for my skin care routine, but decided I should change things up completely. I bought a new eye cream a week ago, which I LOVE, as well as some anti-aging serums to use during the day and night to prevent signs of aging.
However, I’m in need of a new daily moisturizer that has at least SPF 30-35 in it (also must be light weight because I have combination skin). I also am looking into buying a toner to be able to remove excess dirt and oil. Also, any suggestions for treating acne? I don’t really get pimples and my skin is actually pretty nice and is clear. I do, however get pimples now and then. Any suggestions for a light-weight night cream as well? I used Hope In A Jar by Philosophy, which I did like, but I am open to other suggestions. I don’t use products that test on animals, so I’m only looking into cruelty-free products. Please help! Thanks!

What’s A Good Bobbi Brown Moisturizer That Is Suitable For A 13-year Old With Dry Skin!?

I need a moisturizer from Bobbi Brown!!! I can’t decide between their moisturizers and I’m still 13 so I don’t need a product that that reduces wrinkles or any other anti-aging effects. I just need a moisturizer that will not dry out my skin and restore my skin back to its original baby-face ! I did have really good skin before but the MAC moisturizer ruined it. I think it was the mac studio finish moisturizer. It smelt like meatballs or even paint. I don’t really care if the moisturizer is fragnance-free or not but pleaseee no moisturizers that smells like socks. This not my account, I forgot my password so I’m currently using a friend’s yahoo account. PLLLEEASSE reply as soon as possible!

How not to Choose a Good Anti Aging Skin Care Product

The anti aging and skin care industries are huge. Millions or billions of dollars are spent by consumers on anti aging skin care treatments, and so there is big money to be made. And there are plenty of big companies in the anti aging and cosmetics industry that take advantage of this.

The result is that many mainstream anti aging skin care products just don’t work. The cosmetics and skin care industry is quite unregulated in the US, and so the big cosmetics and skin care companies can put any product on the market without first proving that it works, and even without showing that it is safe for the people who use it.

As a result there are many anti aging skin care treatments available that don’t work, and contain suspect, or known to be dangerous ingredients.

But they sell in spades to cater to the desire of so many consumers to look younger, or at least to believe that they will look younger. And so there are hundreds of well known brand name products that promise all sorts of anti aging benefits everywhere you look.

So, how do you navigate your way through all this to choose an anti aging skin care treatment that does work, and doesn’t contain ingredients that you should be scared of?

Here’s how not to choose a good anti aging product.

1. Don’t buy any skin care products that include fragrances in them. Now of course everyone likes to smell good, and the cosmetics companies pander to that, by adding fragrances to their products. Apply the cream and smell good and look young all at the same time.

There’s 2 problems. Firstly you won’t look younger because chances are the skin cream won’t make you look younger, though you may feel good about having used it.

Secondly, fragrances are not good chemicals to put on your skin. Because that’s what they are, chemicals that smell good, and many of them aren’t that good for you. It’s the same with perfumes, for example, but if you apply a perfume it’s only a small squirt on one spot, it’s not massaged all over your face where it disappears, into your blood. So just use a perfume instead.

2. Don’t buy skin care creams that have collagen in them. Now this at first glance appears counterintuitive doesn’t it? Everyone knows that collagen, or the breakdown of collagen in your skin, leads to sagging and wrinkling of the skin so putting more collagen on must be good.

Not necessarily. Yes it’s good to replenish the collagen, however collagen molecules are quite large and don’t really enter the skin. So rubbing it on might make you feel good, but doesn’t really add to the levels of collagen in your skin.

The best way to improve the collagen levels in your skin is to stimulate the body to produce more collagen itself.

However remember, the big cosmetics and anti aging companies are in the business of selling their products. If they put collagen on the label people buy it. And if they put it in a fancy bottle and get a good looking celebrity to say how much younger they look using it, then it will sell.

Even if it doesn’t do anything for you. Even if it’s got suspect ingredients. It will sell.

That’s marketing for you.

Problem is, all this marketing is expensive. The good looking celebrity has to be paid, usually lots, the fancy bottles need to be purchased, and the advertising costs a bomb.

So the anti aging skin care treatment that really doesn’t do much costs a bomb too. But that’s ok because people believe that if it’s expensive it must be good. So they pay anyway.

So there is 2 things to avoid when looking for a good anti aging skin care treatment. There’s more but this is getting long.

Does all this mean that you should give up on anti aging creams and products because they don’t work? Not at all. There are excellent anti aging products that work fine, produced from ingredients from plants that are safe to use.

But they are produced by small niche companies that you’ve probably never heard of, who quietly produce high quality products at reasonable prices because they don’t pay the good looking celebrities and spend up big on TV advertising. That’s why you’ve never heard of them. If they started doing that their products would cost a bomb too.

So don’t despair. I’ve given you some things to look for when buying an anti aging skin care product, and told you that there are excellent products available. Now it’s your turn to find them.

Is This Good For Male Skin?

So for those of you who watched “American Psycho”, do these sound like good skin care products to replace the ones used by Patrick Bateman in the movie?
deep pore cleanser lotion (Sothys Desquacreme Deep Pore Cleanser)
water activated gel cleanser (Trilogy Balancing Gel Cleanser)
honey almond body scrub (Tree Hut Body Scrub, Almond Honey)
exfoliating gel scrub (Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel)
herb-mint facial mask (Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque)
after shave lotion with little or no alcohol (Neutrogena Men Razor Defense Post Shave Lotion)
moisturizer (Neutrogena Men Age Fighter Face Moisturizer)
anti-aging eye balm (Skinceuticals Eye Balm Rehabilitative Emollient For Aging Skin)
moisturizing protective lotion (Nivea for Men Protective Moisturizer)
I don’t need the anti-aging eye balm as I’m only 19. And can I still use an exfoliating towel in the shower if I go through all of those creams? I will be using these products every morning if I get them, is that a good idea?
Here is another list of items listed on this article that might be good, but I’m a college student and can’t afford too much.http://www.apetogentleman.com/products/p…
Thank you for all your help.

Are Anti-wrinkle Creams A Good Prevention Tool For Wrinkles?

I’m 28 years old, and I’m gay…and while I’m not stereotypical in most areas, I am pretty “gay” when it comes to my skin and hair, and I’m paranoid about getting wrinkles or looking older than I am in any way. When people guess my age, they usually guess around 22-23. I’d like to keep them guessing in that range as long as I can, lol.
I’m been using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream w/SPF 15 during the day–for about 6 months now I’d say–and at night I have just started using Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Night Cream.
I don’t have any wrinkles yet, but the creams have made my skin look really smooth and nice. Will moisturizers and products with things like pro-retinol help to prevent wrinkles from forming? Or do they just help smooth wrinkles ones you have them?

Anti Aging Natural Skin Care Products: the Good News

Just imagine if there really were anti aging natural skin care products that actually delivered what they promised. Well, you don’t have to imagine. The good news is these products do exist. And if you’re willing to learn a few important facts and apply these facts to some old fashioned “shopping” you can end up with the best anti aging skin care that will really help you turn back the clock on your appearance.

You probably know from personal experience that most products that are promoted as anti aging natural skin care don’t work…at least not in any long term, truly skin-improving way.

Because they’re made up of synthetic chemicals, you get a product that acts as a temporary filler of lines and wrinkles.

Companies use low quality ingredients, such as mineral oil, dioxane, parabens, alcohol and fragrances because they are inexpensive way to create a product that looks good, feels good and smells good. But don’t be fooled. They are not good for your skin.

What is good for your skin, however, are anti aging natural skin care products which stimulate your skin’s own natural ability to maintain its youthful firmness and elasticity. The best anti aging skin care promotes new collagen and elastin production in your skin.

Finding these effective anti aging natural skin care products is easy. It’s just a matter of reading the ingredients on the label.

You want to look for natural oils, vegetable-based waxes and silicones, reparative proteins, vitamins, antioxidants and plant extracts. The best anti aging skin care is also fragrance-free.

I don’t know about you, but I feel a lot better about putting natural ingredients on my face that I wouldn’t be afraid to eat. I know that sounds strange, but since your skin absorbs what you put on it, some of the active ingredients make it into your blood stream. So it’s just as if you’ve eaten it.

Just a couple of words of caution though…in order for anti aging natural skin care products to be effective, the ingredients I mentioned must be present in high concentrations.

Some cosmetic companies are known to include one or two natural ingredients at low concentrations just to be able to be listed on the label. This deceptive practice gives the appearance of a quality product when, in fact, your buying a jar of “skin spackle.”

Also, don’t be fooled by products that say they contain collagen. The collagen in these creams can’t be utilized by your skin cells because the collagen molecules are too large.

In order for collagen to be effective it must be manufactured internally by your cells. Stimulating that production is as simple as using anti aging natural skin care products with ingredients that have been shown to be effective in boosting collagen.

Make no mistake about it. This is good news about anti aging natural skin care products. You can make a healthy improvement in your appearance by taking what you’ve just learned and applying it to looking for the best anti aging skin care you can find.

Right now I have the laser focus by clinique that keeps my skin smooth and fresh feeling, but I want to know what would be a good cream to wear at night? and a moisturizer that doesn’t have me breakout, but when it’s very cold outside helps prevent damage to my skin.

Is there a good night-time anti-wrinkle cream for rosacea?

I get flush around the cheeks area. At night, I want to use a good anti-wrinkle cream but I fear making the flush/red areas worse on my face. I am looking for a good, calm anti-wrinkle cream that is non-comodegenic and hypo-allergic.

What Is A Good Price For Natural Body Care?

My sister and I are selling homemade body care products and are going to be in our first show. The bath bars are just over 3oz. They are made with natural beneficial products. I am a skin care professional and have done a lot of research to make the products healing ,anti-aging,soothing and invigorating. We also have soaks, scrubs and creams. I even have a bar made with red wine ( chock full of repairative and antioxidant benefits, plus aha’s and omega3 and 6) So we don’t ant to be over priced or under priced, So my question is what would you pay for a body care product that has wonderful results.
Thanks You can look at us on “Sisters suds and salves ” on Face book.

Does Anyone Know Of Any Good Moisturizers For Oily Skin?

I have oily skin which sucks lol cuz its hard for me to keep the shine away. I use an acne cleanser, and witch hazel as my toner. The only thing I need is to find a good moisturizer for my skin because even though its oily, believe it or not, it still gets dry sometimes. I’ve used Biore, Cetaphil, Olay, Purpose, Neutrogena (which i hated) and I tried the L’oreal active daily moisture which was super sticky and disgusting. I haven’t tried Aveeno’s facial moisturizers because I heard they were greasy. Right now i’m using Neutrogena’s Oil-free spf 15 moisture but i think it has to be the greasiest moisturizer I have ever used. Its gross. But anyway, if anyone has oily skin like me and a good skincare routine that they would like to share with me then please let me know what you use :) I’m only 20 so I don’t use any anti aging products just in case you recommend that for me. And also please let me know of a good moisturizer if you know of any!! Thanks!

Anti Wrinkle Cream for Men – the Secret to Keeping Your Youthful Good Looks

Have you ever wondered to yourself why it is that there is not a decent anti wrinkle cream for men that the leading companies are producing?  It’s hard enough just to find men’s wrinkle cream let alone finding a product that actually makes a visible difference in your appearance.  Why do you think it is that the major cosmetics companies can’t seem to deliver a formula that is effective?

Even though our skin is of a slightly different texture than a woman’s and needs specialized care you are very rarely going to find an anti wrinkle cream for men.  This is because the cosmetics industry focuses their products, and marketing almost exclusively towards women.  I guess that they figure that historically it has been women that have driven their business.

The need for a men’s wrinkle cream that is focused on the special needs that our skin has is growing, because we don’t treat skin care the way that the generations of men before us did.  To the men of that era all that you needed was a good aftershave lotion, and you were all set.  The sad thing is that even the aftershave that they used was bad for their skin, and nothing much has changed since then.

The products that were available to the men of past generations were not good for their skin because the products were loaded down with drying alcohols and chemicals that were harmful to not only their ski, but also to their health.  Even with scientific technology improving and healthy ingredients available don’t expect the bulk of anti wrinkle cream for men that you find today to be much better.

The majority of men’s wrinkle cream that is being produced is still going to be composed primarily of the same types of ingredients as the products that your father and grandfather used.  This is because chemical and synthetic ingredients are cheaper for the cosmetics companies to use as opposed to the extra processing cost that healthy natural ingredients require.

It’s not as though the makers of these chemical laden products don’t realize that they are shortchanging their customers, and potentially harming their health, because they do.  Luckily for us not every company follows the example of the major brands when it comes to producing their anti wrinkle cream for men.  There is one company in particular that excels in producing all natural anti aging products.

There is a company in New Zealand whose all natural men’s wrinkle cream contains a mixture of protein peptides that cause your body to produce far more collagen and elastin than it has become used to producing.  This increase will allow your skin to become full and firm once again, and your youthful good looks will return to you to a great extent.

Their anti wrinkle cream for men also contains ingredients that will soothe the burning, and itching that most men suffer due to their daily shaving routine.  The all natural ingredients that you will find in this specially formulated product of you everything that you need in order to truly heal your skin.

The Top Ten Anti Aging Products Exposed – Why They Are Not As Good As They Seem

The top ten anti aging products are not as good as they seem. I am saying this from personal experience, and because most of the top ten anti aging products are determined by how much they market their products.

You see, most of the skincare companies that advertise on TV, magazines, and that make these top ten anti aging products lists spend almost all of their budget on marketing.

You might think that this is good, but it really isn’t. When popular brand-name companies put more money on marketing, they have to take away money from their research & development, and this is not good.

This means lower quality ingredients, bad technology (ingredients do not get absorbed as well), and bad manufacturing processes that destroy ingredients and minimize the benefits you get.

By buying these top ten anti aging products you might be wasting your money, because they are usually not worth the price they are asking.

What is the solution then? Well, there is a simple solution, and I just recently stumbled upon this. I have been using completely natural skincare product daily for awhile now, and the results are pretty amazing.

When you’re looking for your next skincare product, you might want to consider getting a completely natural skincare cream, and see how it feels.

I am very positive that your skin will improve and that you will look many years younger. The product I am using I intend to use for the rest of my life. I just hope that they do not stop making it!

Finding one of these products isn’t as hard as you might think, it is all about doing your research, and not settling for the popular brand-name products, because it is often those that are the least effective.

Is it a good idea to start anti aging creams when you’re young?

I’m 20 years old and my suitemate uses this anti aging cream on a nightly basis. She told me it’s better to start early and take preventative measures than start when it’s already too late. My fear is that if I use them this young, they will be less effective when I’m older. I’m not sure what the better choice is. How can I work at keeping my skin healthy besides using sunscreen whenever I go outside?

Is there a good anti-wrinkle cream for someone with rosacea?

I get flush around the cheeks area. At night, I want to use a good anti-wrinkle cream but I fear making the flush/red areas worse on my face. I am looking for a good, calm anti-wrinkle cream that is non-comodegenic and hypo-allergic. What can I use? What should I avoid?
