Cynergy TK. What Is It? Why Is It Great For Skin Care?
Posted by Peter Albertonach in Anti Aging on May 3, 2010
Ever heard of keratin? If you’re interested in serious skin care you should know about keratin, and what a new form of keratin called Cynergy TK can do for your skin. Cynergy TK is the modern way of adding keratin to anti aging and skin care products so that it actually does something useful for your skin.
But isn’t there keratin in the skincare products or anti aging products that you’re using now? Isn’t it good enough to use a product that actually contains keratin and so replace the lost keratin that way?
Yes there is keratin in many skin care and anti-aging products, but Cynergy TK is a form of keratin that is far more useful to your skin than the keratin you’re getting in your skin care products now.
Keratin is an extremely strong protein found right throughout the body, but in particular in your skin, as well as your nails, hair and some other parts of your body. It helps make your skin more elastic and pliable, and to combat wrinkles and sagging in your skin.
As you age your skin loses some keratin, and this contributes to the aging of the skin and the aging signs like wrinkles and fine lines around your face and eyes. Loss of keratin is not the only cause, but certainly one of the biggies.
So why not just use those big brand name skin care products with keratin in them?
I mentioned that keratin is found in nails and hair. It is also found in the horns and hooves of animals and that is where the keratin is sourced for the big brand name anti-aging products. It is extracted using acid and heat, and this changes the form of the keratin by a process known as “hydrolyzation” and means that is no longer useful to the skin.
Cynergy TK on the other hand uses a form of keratin that is totally different. It is extracted from the wool of sheep, and the sheep don’t even need to be killed. It is extracted by a process that doesn’t use heat or acid, so no “hydrolyzation” and the keratin resulting is biologically available to your skin.
The result is what’s called “functional keratin” and the effects on skin are amazing. It is extremely similar to the protein found in human skin.
It’s almost a “liquid skin” and is so effective that it stimulates the skin into regrowing more of it’s own keratin, as well as collagen, another essential skin protein that is lost with skin aging.
And Cynergy Tk also contains a number of other components, all very useful to your skin. These include zinc and copper proteins which assist in increasing the thickness of the skin, and reducing lines and wrinkles. The regrowth of collagen and elastin also assist with reducing wrinkling.
So if you haven’t heard about keratin before, you have now. It’s extremely important to skin health, and skin regeneration. Traditionally extracted keratin isn’t available to your skin due to it’s extraction with heat and acid, but functional keratin found in Cynergy TK is, because of the revolutionary patented process of extracting it.
Will you find Cynergy TK in your big brand name skin care and anti aging products? No. It’s too expensive.
Which company uses Cynergy TK in their skin care products? I’ll bet you’ve never even heard of them, but they make the worlds best skin care products. And believe it or not the products are competitively priced because they don’t spend megabucks on TV advertising.

What In The World Is Functional Keratin In Skin Care?
Posted by Peter Clark in skin care on February 8, 2010
If you’ve spent any time reading about skin health and skin care you’ll start reading about keratin pretty soon. What is it?
You can find keratin in many parts of our bodies. It is a very strong protein that can be found in parts of our bodies like our hair and nails, and our skin.
It is produced in the epidermis of our skin by cells called keratinocytes, and these keratin cells slowly come to the surface of our skin where they form a protective layer of dead skin cells on the surface, and slowly slough off over time.
Keratin has some vital roles in maintaining the function of our skin. It produces some waterproofing qualities, for example. But the main function of keratin in our skin is to promote skin strength and elasticity.
Our skin needs these qualities and as it ages it starts to lose some keratin and so lose some strength and elasticity.
So you would assume that it’s good to use skin care products that contain keratin, but that’s wrong.
The reason is that the process used to produce the keratin found in mainstream skin care products is a process using heat and acid, and this “denaturalizes” the keratin into a form that is of no use to the skin.
So what is functional keratin? This is keratin that is extracted from the wool of sheep without using heat or acid, and so it is not denaturalized. It is functional in the sense that it is still in a form that is available for the skin to use.
It is only recently that this process has been perfected by one small company that makes it and has patented it. It is put into a product called Cynergy TK that is used only in the worlds very best skincare products.
Studies on the results that use of Cynergy TK can produce have been impressive with visible results within a short time, a reduction in wrinkles and fine lines and an improvement in the complexion.
Cynergy TK is expensive, and so the big brand name skin care products don’t use it. But it is possible to get skin care products that contain Cynergy TK, and they aren’t more expensive than other skin care products. Why? Because the big brands spend their budget on advertising, whereas the small niche company spends it’s budget on product quality.
The price of big brand skincare products has to reflect the cost of the advertising.
So there’s some background on the role of keratin in the skin. And about what functional keratin is if you were wondering.
